ivory santa 2025
Ivory Santa is an annual charity event. In previous years we have fundraised for Christmas packages for children and Heart Scholarships. This year we have a special occurrence, as we are raising funds for Yao Prince's rehabilitation!
Prince has begun a long rehabilitation process after his hearing implant surgery, which will teach him to speak and improve his communication. His mother had to quit her job to care for him, leaving them in severe financial hardship despite support from sponsors and Professor Asse, who donated €610 to start his therapy. A further €1,500 is needed, which we aim to raise through Ivory Santa.

Our Cause
We work in the spirit of “modern volunteering,” meaning that we not only put our hearts, but a whole set of skills and knowledge into making a significant difference in the lives of kids in the Ivory Coast. Our support is not limited to tangible aid but also involves research, all while inspiring the personal growth of talented youths from Poland and beyond. Through this transcultural exchange, we grow personally and professionally while helping local communities in the Ivory Coast.

How we help?
Supporting the kindergarten in Brobo has been the starting point for our work. We have now finalized the construction of the playground and supplied the facility with toys and learning materials. As of now, we are looking over the construction of a boarding house for children with disabilities.
Thanks to sponsors and contributors, we are funding scholarships for kids who are academically gifted or suffer from various disabilities. In the Ivory Coast, just 30 euros a month can change the course of education for our pupils or help treat diseases.
Despite Africa being the most culturally diverse continent, much is still unknown and multiple fields require external help. With our Medical Project, we teach young women about challenges related to motherhood and childcare via educational videos and infographics.
